Brenda Guyader, S.E., has nearly 20 years of experience in the structural engineering field, including three as an Associate Principal and the Engineering Manager of a ten-person office of a top-tier, large seismic engineering firm. Providing innovative and cost-saving solutions are hallmarks of Brenda’s practice.

Her experience in structural analysis, seismic evaluation and structural design, retrofit design of existing structures, and new building design can be seen in projects throughout California. From healthcare to university work, residential to commercial, peer review to seismic analysis and risk assessment, her background in structural engineering is extensive.

Kristen Alldrin joined Guyader Consulting in 2017 with a background in both design and evaluation. Her experience ranges from OSHPD construction administration to seismic design and evaluation of public and private buildings. With attention to detail and a unique ability to listen to client needs, Kristen serves as an integral part of every project team she joins.

Andy Guyader has over 14 years of experience in the structural engineering and academic field, including eight as an adjunct professor at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a year as the George W. Housner post-doctoral scholar at Caltech. He has served as a lecturer at UCLA and Caltech, and provided academic advising and mentoring at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Andy’s primary responsibility at Guyader Consulting is providing leadership in innovation, bridging academic research with practical application, and applying new technology to current projects.
